When it comes to social media sites, Facebook dominates the search realm. As social creatures (or at least, I hope we're social creatures!), we meet lots of folks; being the first thing they see when they look you up is huge. I actually paid someone $20 to sit in front of a computer with my account and snatch my name as soon as the ball dropped; she lost a shot at hers only a minute and a half later. :( I can’t stress the importance of this enough.
